The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers to the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed with regard to the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme status sassa [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries here to access SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The provider issue designed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise usage of Social Assistance sassa status check solutions,” the agency said.
